Field Trip: Barcelona
This semester the Bachelor students of the 4th semester went to Barcelona. In addition to the classics – such as the Barcelona Pavilion and the Sagrada Familia – there were also other architectural highlights on the route created by the students. In addition, Walden 7 by Ricardo Bofill, Mercat dels Encants Barcelona and Dipòsit de les Aigües were surprisingly exciting buildings. Barcelona did not disappoint in terms of urban development either: the superblocks were a good reminder of what a positive urban development supplement and redefinition of the classic blocks in Barcelona can achieve.
In addition to the architectural highlights, a visit to the architecture faculty and an evening on the beach were on the agenda.
Here are some impressions of our excursion, photos by Richard Woditsch and Felix Bubmann.
