With its location on the Tempelhof rainwater retention basin, the Floating University is situated on an extraordinary site. A combination of a lively social centre and mobile laboratories spread over the entire area enables this special feature to be perceived and experienced from all angles and perspectives. The social centre offers protection through a statically advantageous and material saving dome, which houses the greenhouse, an auditorium, a kitchen, a bar and two additional warm rooms.
