Task: In the preliminary design, an innovative concept for the design faculties of the TH Nuremberg in a selected inner-city location is developed and a functional program is developed, which is located in terms of spatial quality, development and structural standards. Based on these decisions, the project will be seamlessly further developed in the thesis. The thesis deals with decisions regarding materiality and constructions and to justify them architecturally. This architectural justification consists of statements about the urban integration of the building, the spatial quality of the internal functions (readability of the internal access, lighting, acoustics/ room climate, materials) and tectonics (Construction and materiality).
